Will ham is an exceptional piano vocalist specialising in jazz and swing.

Naturally talented and passionate for jazz music, Will Ham is an exceptional piano vocalist specialising in jazz and swing.  He is fully covered by Public Liability Insurance and a member of the Musicians' Union.

From the early age of 8, Will was fascinated by the music from films such as Casablanca and High Society not forgetting the irreplaceable talent of Ella Fitzgerald and Louis Armstrong. His love and natural ear for music was recognised by St John's College Choir, Cambridge who offered Will a place to study as a young chorister. This renowned musical training led to worldwide appearances on sell out tours with the choir to Canada, USA, Brazil, Australia, Hong Kong, Sweden, Netherlands and Spain (under the baton of George Guest) as well as frequent broadcasts on BBC Radio 3, Classic FM and appearances at venues such as the Sydney Opera House.

Following his success at St John's College, he later studied at Chetham's School of Music in Manchester forming collaborations with renowned pianist Gwilym Simcock, vibraphone player Jim Hart, and saxophonist with Duran Duran, Simon Willescroft. Will then gained a place at Rotterdam Conservatoire where he studied jazz vocals and piano. He enjoyed his time studying abroad and soon became the resident piano vocalist onboard the MV Regatta for Oceania Cruises cruising the Mediterranean and Baltic for six months. After which he took up a piano residency in snowy Luosto, Finland for four consecutive years.

Will's lifetime of travels awoke his further thirst for adventure which led him to join the Royal Navy where he spent several demanding years in the underwater world of Mine Clearance Diving.  This unusual profession has only added to the wealth of experiences that contribute to the substance of his music.

Will loves to share his enjoyment for jazz with his audience in his performances. Professional, mature and original, his reputation continues to grow through playing at various events, weddings and live music venues. Bestival 2015, Beaulieu Palace House and Montague on the Gardens Hotel in London are all venues that he has played at recently.

Will is currently working on his own compositions and is looking forward to releasing an album showcasing his musical talent.
